The all-nylon fibers provide the smoothest and fastest roll for maximum consistency, superior to the roll of a texturized polypropylene turf or other low profile landscape turfs. The attached 5mm foam pad minimizes imperfections in your subbase, makes for the best feel underfoot, and helps to balance ball bounce.
What separates this turf from the competition is the combination of low-profile and superior drainage. Drainage is extremely important for any turf installation, especially when it comes to the enclosed space of a bocce ball court. When installing your bocce ball court, you want your frame to tightly secure the perimeter of your playing surface. This poses a challenge for other artificial putting green turf options without drain holes applied throughout the backing. Drainage holes are slightly visible from the top. The Bocce Ball Elite Padded 5mm is a mid-to-heavy-weight putting green style turf option, with a face weight of 36 oz texturized nylon. TFD Bocce Ball Elite has a 7 oz primary backing combined with a 22 oz. polyurethane and 55 oz polyurethane foam backing for added dimensional stability.
