TFD Nylon Special 5mm is our newest product on the market. We offer this product as an alternative to our TFD Nylon 36 Padded 5mm. Both are 100% texturized nylon. By reducing the yarn weight per square yard by four ounces we are able to offer a more economically priced nylon padded product. We offer this material with a 5mm padded backing for additional dimensional stability; available in 12′ width.

The same durability and performance at a fraction of the price. Our second quality batting cage material delivers the same traction, shock absorption, ball speed, and stability for your athletes. The only part of this turf that is second quality are visual imperfections. These can be in the form of lines, streaks, or splotches in the turf. How noticeable these visual imperfections can vary from fairly noticeable to very noticeable. They can run the entire length of the roll or be contained to one area.
This is made of texturized polypropylene. This can feel abrasive for long periods of direct skin contact. For a soft, padded and cost affective option look at the TFD Sportmax Lite Padded 5mm
